Crewed or Skippered yachts
Sailing the Greek islands can prove to be challenging due to strong winds, small harbors, and poor holding anchorages. There is also, for example, the custom of tying off to another boat, which is already docked, that may come as a surprise. We believe in safety first, and strongly recommend a crewed yacht especially if you haven't sailed in Greek waters before. When chartering a bareboat, naturally all the responsibility is yours, while one of the major benefits of hiring a professional skipper is that if a problem arises, the skipper will be the one handling it. Our professional skippers are a great advantage not only because they know about the boat and its systems, meltemi winds, docking, and appropriate etiquette, but also because they know the locals, the islands, and are fantastic, helpful hosts! This translates into less for you to be concerned with, and more time for enjoying your holidays!
